    Dr. Ravneet Kaur is a Professor and the Head of the Department of Transfusion Medicine at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Chandigarh, India. She is a member of the Core Committee of the Haemovigilance Programme of India and the Technical Resource Group for Blood Transfusion Services of the Government of India. She served as the editor of the Asian Journal of Transfusion Science from 2012 to 2017 and has received several awards, including the Award of Excellence by the U.T Government, Chandigarh in 2023, the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022, and the J.R. Jolly Award in 2021 for her significant contributions to the field of Transfusion Medicine. Dr. Kaur has been a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences since 2009.
