How A Certificate Works

1

Select a Certificate

Select a Certificate of Training from the choices above.

2

Register for Courses

Enroll first in your required courses, then choose from the list of electives.

3

Take Each Course

Complete each course as your schedule allows.

4

Take the Final Exam

Achieve a score of 90% or higher to earn your certificate.

We’ll ask you to take a pre-test, post-test and survey for each course you’ve completed. You will also take a final exam that will serve as a capstone assessment of what you’ve learned through the course curriculum.

Why Earn a Certificate?

  • Customize your course curriculum to your interests.
  • Make progress toward your certificate at your own pace.
  • Build a deeper understanding of the topic while completing continuing education requirements.
  • Apply nutrition science to your clinical practice and help your patients be well-nourished.

Important Notes

  • The Certificate of Training is not a certification program. It doesn’t offer a designation or credential such as the Registration Examination for Dietitians. Rather, it will allow you to build a comprehensive depth of knowledge about the topic you’ve chosen.
  • It’s important to complete and claim credit for each program within your curriculum. The Commission on Dietetic Registration periodically audits all credits our participants claim. To see a list of the programs you’ve completed, log on to ANHI and click "My Courses" in the blue bar at the top of your screen.
